The TOP 10 SNOBBIEST Cities In Utah!
If you Google the definition of "Snobby" you'll see pejorative term for a person who feels is superior due to their social class, education level, or social status in general." So, essentially a snob is someone who believes they're better than you. In this article we'll judge who is the SNOBBIEST of all the Utah cities.
UTAH'S TOP 10 SNOBBIEST TOWNS:
10. HUNTSVILLE, UTAH:
Huntsville is a TINY little town in Northern Utah, but the snob runs deep! The average price of a home in Huntsville is $2,300,000! Here in St. George, homes are $296 per square foot, while Huntsville homes are $426 per square foot! Wow!
9. HOLLADAY, UTAH:
Holladay, Utah is a gorgeous place! Many Utah Jazz players have chosen to live there. But with it being a "rich" area, the snob comes with it! The average price of a home for sale RIGHT NOW is $900,000! Yikes! I guess I'm not bougie enough to live in Holliday!
8. PLEASANT GROVE, UTAH:
Pretty much ALL of Utah County is pretty snobby, but Pleasant Grove is absolutely one of the snobbiest! Homes are much cheaper here than nearly anywhere else on this list, but there's just something about "PG" that makes you feel like you're not good enough to be there!
7. SANDY, UTAH:
Another city that I really love is Sandy... But loving them doesn't protect them from this list! You'll see homes ranging from $300,000 to $16,000,000 in Sandy and everywhere in between! If you've ever been to Sandy, you FOR SURE have seen some "BYU All-Stars". (A BYU All-Star is someone that was awesome in high school and college and still believe they're in those same glory days 10 years later.)
6. MAPLETON, UTAH:
Mapleton is gorgeous, out a bit from civilization, but with all the money in Mapleton, you're going to get some snob! It's only natural. Something interesting about Mapleton is... Homes are being listed on average at $800,000, but only being sold for about $650,000. That is the DEFINITION of snob!
5. SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH:
A few years ago, Salt Lake City made the list for Snobbiest City in the ENTIRE United States! They're no longer on the national list, but they're definitely in the state list! I mean, come on! We have The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. They're on the list. You can't even argue this one!
4. ST. GEORGE, UTAH:
Ahhh... My homeland. That's right. St. George comes in at #4 on the list. If you've ever lived here, you understand that for a lot of people, they've gotta "Keep up with the Joneses" here in St. George! A lot of the women dress alike, look alike, sound alike, and all have to have the nicest homes and cars.
3. DRAPER, UTAH:
Draper hits #3 on the list! If you've been to Draper on a windy day, you'll be able to see all the false eyelashes, and extensions flying down the street in the wind! Draper is very similar to Mapleton with the home prices. Homes in Draper, on average, are listed at $925,000, but ONLY SELLING at $637,000! That's quite the gap! Draper would be #1 on this list, if we didn't have two absolute JUGGERNAUTS coming up next!
2. PARK CITY, UTAH:
Of course, you've got to have Park City on this list... and I'm sure a lot of people are shocked that Park City is not #1. If you've ever been to Park City, you instantly feel like you're not welcome there. You're not "one of them." That's okay though, I hope to someday be one of them! Those homes are gorgeous and worth SO MUCH MONEY! The average income for a household in Park City is around $131,000.
1. ALPINE, UTAH:
The average home price in Alpine is $2,750,000! However, the median income for a household is only $162,000. A full $31,000 more than Park City at #2 on this list. Homes are currently for sale in Alpine (on average) at $1,300,000! But, you'll even see homes up to $10,000,000 though.
