Ready to try Express Chicken St George?

I've been seeing this place come together for a while and as I drove by, two words caught my eye.  CHICKEN and ROTISSERIE.  In my mind, I wondered what Chicken Express was.  'Never heard of that.  As I Googled it, I realized I had the words backward.  I looked back at the sign and noticed it's not Chicken Express.  It is Express Chicken.  My search kept coming up with Chicken Express too but no Express Chicken.

This new restaurant has been under construction for a while and it looks like they are close to opening.  It is right next to O'Reilly Auto Parts on West Sunset in St George.

I like chicken more than I should.  Just last week, Mikey & The Mrs were talking about Kenny Rogers Roasters.  When I first tried Kenny Rogers' chicken, I thought they'd be everywhere in no time, like Starbucks.  That was years ago when they first opened the franchise.  Today, you might see a Kenny Rogers Roasters now and then but they are pretty uncommon.

There are a lot of chicken places to choose from so there's no need to be a chicken snob.  I like Viva Chicken, Chick-Fil-A, Super Chix and I'm nutty for Popeye's.  I was thrilled when they started showing up in Utah.  When I get the chance on the road, I'll drop in to Boston Market too.  That's heaven in a basket.

Let's all hope this new Express Chicken place is as good or better than the rest we've come to know.  And if they offer ribs too, I may have found my new home.  I've been Googling the franchise and doing a search for "Express Chicken opening in St George".  Nothing came up.  Even the Google search comes back Chicken Express.  NO!  It's Express Chicken.  Not Chicken Express!

I have a knife and fork in my hand as I write this.  See you there when they open.  When you invite your friends to meet you there, don't say Chicken Express!
