Cool Stuff from the Livestock & Heritage Festival in Cedar City
Big fun at the Cedar City Livestock & Heritage Festival. This was my first time and it was funny to see the anticipation on the faces of the people who’ve been attending this parade for years.
Yes, I'm a nut for antique cars and trucks. You'll love these.
I'm thrilled to see things like this still running. A tip of the hat to those who've preserved them and done the work to keep them road-worthy. Picture this when it was NEW.
If you're lookin for a job where nobody bothers you, you can enjoy a good book and collect your thoughts, this might be the career for you. Tired of commuting?
If you wear wool or you've ever had lamb chops, you owe some thanks to the people who spend their days and nights in these deluxe accommodations. Cool, huh?
Fancy trick ridin' with farm equipment.
More hot-dogging with tractors and accessories.
How else would you get steam into the hay?
Do you think you could lift these?
Another tough cowboy on the job.
I want one of these. That looks like fun.
Restored to showroom new. I want one!
We had a lot of fun hanging out with the families gathered for the parade. And I think we'll do the Livestock & Heritage Festival again next year. At first, I was wondering why there were no marching bands. Then it hit me how badly that would go with all of the animals. The handlers did great getting the long horn cattle and all of the sheep, HUNDREDS of sheep pointed in the right direction down Main street.
