Survey Shows Stark Divide Between Hunters And Utah Public On AI Hunting Tech
Artificial Intelligence is having an effect on all industries as it makes gathering and analyzing information easier. There are a lot of hunters in Utah and AI is changing the hunting experience.
A survey shows how people feel about those changes differs according to a person's perspective..
Public Perception: The Divide on AI in Hunting
An interesting survey done by Superior Tactical looked at how AI technology could enhance hunting equipment. Then they surveyed what the public thought about it. Overall the 68% of the public did not think AI should be used in hunting at all.
However, for hunters and especially active hunters the numbers were flipped. The majority of hunters would like to see AI improve their equipment. How could AI be used to improve the hunting experience?

Enhancing the Hunting Experience with AI Technology
AI could be used in rifle scopes to analyze the scene and focus on the animal. It could even help with targeting and recording what is in the scope to be used as a tag later. The general public was not for this when asked, but hunters were interested.
They even took it further asking if robot dogs should be used to flush out game or if drones could be used to remotely hunt from anywhere. The general public was against this by 89%. The majority of hunters did not have the same level of opposition.
